Everlasting Flower Wreaths

September 14 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

$125.00

Course Description: During this special hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to make a colorful flower wreath using dried flowers grown at WEI’s own Amador Hill Farm. These wreaths are a beautiful memento of summer’s abundance and can adorn your home all year long. All proceeds from this class go to WEI’s Education Program Scholarship Fund.

The day begins with a tour of the flower farm and insights into plant varieties and best practices to grow, harvest, and dry this specialty crop. The class includes lunch provided by WEI – an autumn stew, homemade bread, and farm-grown vegetables. After lunch, we’ll gather in the Dome for a demonstration of wreath-making techniques, and each participant will have the opportunity to design and make their own wreath to take home.

All are welcome – WEI classes are open to everyone.

What to Bring: Sturdy shoes for walking in the fields, garden snips if you have them, notebook and pen for taking notes, and a water bottle and snacks if you need them. All other wreath-making supplies are provided, including flowers.
