Annual Public Works Cleanup Day is the last Saturday in April, the 28th at the Public Works shop. Free compost loading at the compost site from 9:00 to 12:00.
Recycle your old computers, TVs, printers, fax machines, VCRs, DVD players, satellite receivers, radios, cell phones, microwaves, appliances, tires, furniture, mattresses, batteries and scrap metal.
Terry’s Disposal is to provide a one-day recycling pickup in North Branch. Bring your unwanted recyclables to the North Branch Public Works Shop, corner of Grand Avenue and Birch Street, between 9 a.m. and noon on April 28 to recycle them. Must be a Chisago county resident.
The purposes of the North Chisago Historical Society (NCHS) is to discover, preserve and disseminate knowledge regarding the history of the northern part of the county. Public is always welcome to their monthly meetings.
Join GPS:45:93 for this upcoming opportunity, “Innovative Approaches to Career Readiness” on Friday, May 4th from 9AM – 2:30 PM. The focus of this event is to showcase innovative approaches to public/private partnerships aimed towards encouraging manufacturing and other high demand careers for students, educators & industry.
