Our goal is to give voter information on candidates running for public office. The political position of the Chamber of Commerce is neutral. We asked each of the candidates running for Mayor or Councilmember to write 50-120 words to share with us. We have published their submission if or as we received it, without any editing.

Past President of NBACC I am proud to announce I, Lorraine Moeller, am running for Mayor.
Folks this election is not about me – it is about YOU – we the people of North Branch.
Are you aware we lost Sunrise Milling to Wyoming? Why?  Because the new owner could not work with the City.  The current  mayor sits on the Economic Development Authority and did nothing to cut the red tape and work with a business in our empty Industrial Park – one that generates tax dollars which lessens the burden on the residents.  Inexcusable.  We need a change!
I have a vision for our City, involving all of you business people, residents,  educational and religious communities.  Your voice matters!

25-30% tax increases are unacceptable and 32% on businesses is insanity.  That is what the mayor and current council voted for on September 10th.

My name is Jeff Goulet and my background at Polaris Industries will assist me in guiding principles as well as my faith and family.  I am running for City Council because I feel we need a bigger vision and execution at the city level.  With many experiences on boards and coaching/volunteering activities it is time for me to give back to our community.
