Chamber Board of Directors

A Board of Directors governs the North Branch Area Chamber of Commerce. The duty of the Board is to shape policy, identify solutions, and implement programs. The Board of Directors are elected by the general membership and should be a fair representation of retailers, manufacturing, service providers and other categories of membership. To be eligible for a board seat one must be an employee or owner of the member business. The Board of Directors is to be composed of eleven directors. Board terms are for a two-year duration, with the exception of the vice-president, which is three years. Nominations for the Board of Directors are sought in September, with ballots being sent out in mid-October. Board terms start January 1st. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, please contact the Chamber staff or any current Board member.

Board meetings are open to all members. Currently, meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7:30 am to 9:00 am in the Chamber office. The time and date of meetings may chance, as needed, with board approval. Contact the Chamber staff to be scheduled to address the board or to add items to the agenda.
